My Isaiah Joseph,

Happy Thanksgiving, baby. It was different today. When we got up, we kind up just hung out around the house for hours doing nothing. I wasn’t up for much and for once I realized, that’s fine. Our “traditions” from the last twelve years have all suddenly stopped and changed.

We went over to Gma and Pap’s later on and Uncle Brandon, Aunt Megan, Honora, Lorelei, and Aunt Linda were there. We had a delicious meal, but I was missing you.

Your siblings’ favorite part of the day was the fact that it snowed. Earlier in the day, it was just a few flurries, but they were still all very excited. Lucas declared that he was going to call today “Christgiving” since it was snowing on Thanksgiving. It picked up a little more tonight and around 7pm there was a light layer of snow covering the ground. They all went outside, ran up and down the hill, threw snow at each other, and just loved life.

I’m grateful for all four of you and I’m grateful that we managed to make it through another holiday. I’m ready to go to bed and end it, though. I love you more than anything, my baby boy. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
