My Isaiah,
Ellie has acro tomorrow. I was trying to figure out what your brothers should bring for the forty-five minutes to keep them occupied. Lucas could probably just do his homework and I’m sure Sum Swamp would entertain them enough for tomorrow.
Thinking about that last night made me think back to Missouri and Ellie’s dance classes. She did a few different ones, but the last one she did was the most memorable. It was in a little studio that was an older house and we sat in a narrow hallway on the floor waiting for her to finish. The best part of it was that we were there with Miss Whitney and Blake because Bella had dance at the same time.
This is where you would go through Miss Whitney’s magical diaper bag because she always had everything you could ever dream of wanting in there. She had so many different kinds of snacks, different toys, books, coloring sets, you name it and she had it. I tried my best to bring things to keep you happy, but you didn’t care. You knew that Miss Whitney was much more prepared. She had two less kids, yet managed to have enough for all four of you and her two.
We also used to go to a play group that was held in a gym at Fort Leonard Wood. There would just be all kinds of toys out and you guys were free to run around like crazy for like an hour. We went every single week and we always went with Miss Whitney, Bella, and Blake. When the play group was over, Miss Whitney and I would be gathering up Blake and Lucas to leave. Where would you be? You would have run directly over to Miss Whitney’s diaper bag in the bleachers. There, Bella would go through it and hand you different snacks that were inside.
I think I told you this before, but when Miss Whitney moved away from Missouri, I bought her boxes of snacks because of you.
As I just typed that out, Miss Whitney’s house and kitchen corner of snacks popped into my head. Those were some of the best times and I wish I could just go back.
I hope you have all the snacks you want up there, baby boy. I love you more than anything, sweetie. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
