My baby boy,

Hi, sweetie. It’s 9:51pm and we are just getting to bed. Although it’s late, it’s better than yesterday. At the rate we are going, maybe Ellie will be able to start back at school towards the end of next week.

It was a crazy day, filled with a lot of waiting on other people. The guy came to hook up the internet today, but couldn’t do it without help. He was here for three hours and still couldn’t finish, I felt bad. Then I ran out to the store with your brothers to buy fun things we need for the house like a mop, some fans, and food and water dishes for the dogs. The fans were definitely worth it, we weren’t doing too well sleeping in complete silence.

Once we were done at the store, I picked up Ellie from Gma’s house, dropped your siblings off at Aunt Cait’s house, and rushed home to meet the maintenance guy. He didn’t actually fix anything, but looked at the things and said he’d come back at a different time. I don’t know what that different time is, but hopefully it’s soon.

Once he left, I picked up your siblings, and we went home and started hanging some things up in their rooms. I will hang some of your stuff up tomorrow. Pap let me borrow and hammer and gave me some nails so I could actually get some things up. Your brothers’ room doesn’t look as messy with their beanie babies up in the nets. Yes, Gma and Pap kept all my beanie babies from when I was growing up and brought them over for everyone to share. Lucas couldn’t hold any more in his hands and he hurried to grab them all before anyone else.

I know this was the right choice, but I’m still feeling uncomfortable with everything. I’m hoping it will just take some time to settle in. We’ve moved enough, but it never felt like this one does. I tracked our household goods today and they are in California. Maybe they’ll get here before May? When we moved to Hawaii, it took two and a half months to move our stuff from Virginia to California. Hopefully it’s not like that this time around.

I’m not a person that usually “manifests” things, but I found my notebook from last April when I started looking for a house for us. I listed all the things I wanted in a house for us on this paper. After I read through the list I made, this house checks every single one of my boxes. Coincidence? Who knows. The first house we were supposed to move into actually checked all of the boxes, too.

It’s all a lot, please send me or your siblings a sign. When they just have dreams about you I feel like it’s a visit and you’re checking in. We actually talked about what we thought you were doing today during lunch. I thought you were making Lego creations in your house that you made out of legos. Lucas said you’re definitely eating pizza. Maybe you had pizza in your Lego house, while building amazing things with legos. I love you more than anything, my sweet boy. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
