My sweet Isaiah Joseph,
I’m going to keep it short tonight, but I survived the first Mother’s Day. It went as well as it could have considering everything that’s happened.
We went over Gma’s for brunch and Uncle Brandon and Aunt Megan were there. Then we went over to Beenie’s house where the kids swam for hours and we had dinner.
I’m thankful there were actually plans today that just needed me to “show up”. It made things much easier and got me out of the house.
It’s really something to see your kids having fun with your best-friend’s kids. Maybe it wouldn’t be as wonderful to see if we always lived here, maybe I would be used to seeing it?
Gma got an alert today on her phone about your reminder. I’ve never seen it come through my phone. Was that you? I also saw a butterfly at Teenie’s house. Maybe you were sure we were right there when your brother went deeper in the pool and didn’t realize it.
You are everything to us and I miss you more than anything. I love you so much, sweetie. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
