Baby boy,

Did you hear me ask you for any information on which way my life is going? I didn’t notice when it happened, but at some point my day turned. I miss you so much and want you here with me. I work a half day tomorrow, so hopefully that’ll help distract everything.

The one positive thing I did today was begin to write in the little book Miss Brenda gave me the day we moved. It’s for me to fill in with memories and all the things I love about you. I hadn’t been able to write in it yet, even though I’ve opened it countless times. It’s a huge step, yet so small at the same time.
