Sweetie,
Today was eventful and hectic. Ellie has decided that she wants to do theatre, so she auditioned for the South Park Children’s Theatre this morning. I was so proud of her and told her about a thousand times. She has never done theatre or even auditioned for anything like that and she just went out there and did it. I love and appreciate how you guys are always willing to just put yourself out and try things.
Elijah had a soccer game today and they did good. Last season, they only scored one goal the entire season and today they scored one goal in their first game. Technically, we still lost, but they all did really well. I’ve noticed that my college track voice has carried over to young children playing soccer. My voice is just so loud, I am used to having only a few seconds to say what I needed while someone ran past.
Our van died again today, I have no idea what’s going on. Luckily, we were close to Uncle Brandon’s house and he was able to come and get the car started. Our van is now back in the shop for the third time in about three weeks.
I bought some flowers and mulch today and started fixing up the front yard. I planted some perennials in your “garden” area right by the front door. It actually looks very pretty, so I hope you like it.
I’m sorry I’m falling asleep, baby boy. I love you more than anything in the world, sweetie. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
