Baby boy,

Tonight was the last night of this session of The Caring Place. This session seemed to go really fast, yet span a longer length of time. The very first day was cancelled back in January because we got that ridiculous amount of snow and today and today we were talking in with shorts and short-sleeves on. Everyone made jokes about being sure they would see the Watsons again, and they’re right. If there’s an ongoing session during the summer, I might just sign us up.

I tried to be a “good mom” today and we stopped at the Learning Express store on the way to The Caring Place because they posted that they got a shipment of these Nee Doh things. I don’t understand it, but Ellie has been all over me to try and get these things so I’ve been attempting when I can. I was expecting to show up there and hear “oh sorry, we are already sold out”. Instead, we got to the store to find a huge line circa 1990’s Black Friday out around the mall. There’s no way we could stand in that line for hours when we had to be Downtown in an hour, but I also don’t think I have the heart to stand in line for hours for a squishy toy.

Oh my goodness, baby, it’s the end of the week and I feel like I’ve lost control of everything going on in this house and am behind on everything. I swear, it happens so fast now. I’m going to get to bed because it’s late, but I love you more than anything in the world. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
