I’m super tired today, I actually laid down on your bed a little after my ten mile run and thought maybe I would just fall asleep. Your tire pillow isn’t that comfortable though. You used that as your pillow for like two years and I have no idea how. My face kept sticking to it. I definitely think Arg and your squishmallow are comfier.
Red and Red Jr. don’t come around much anymore. Gray has come around a few times, but not much. I think they got tired of waiting for their grapes and just gave up on me. In my defense, they were coming by the door like ten times a day and there was a lot going on at the house. However, I saw two roosters and a hen in the front yard last week. I got so excited because we’ve never had chickens right by our house and I want to keep them there until they have baby chicks. In order to ensure they don’t leave, I’m feeding them several times a day. I do my trusty “bird voice” when I walk outside and they come running over. If I’m being honest, just getting to watch them run full speed is entertaining enough and a wonderful reason to keep them around. I will name them soon and get back to you on what I’ve chosen.
I was building with legos in your room today with the boys. Elijah was giving me step by step instructions on how to build exactly what he was building. Lucas went on to build a whole spaceship with satellites, indoor lights, and a special contraption that would suck in space debris. Elijah ended up putting our identical builds together and created a space satellite that was floating around. We always end up talking about you when we were in there. Lucas tried to make us listen to the “sounds of Mercury” the entire time. After about ten minutes of noise, I turned on Disney music and we reminisced about some of your favorite songs. When Friend Like Me by Will Smith came on, Lucas and Elijah kept doing some little thing where they pretended to fall? I guess you did it a lot with them.
I miss you so much, my baby. The days go on and the loss of you is felt every second. I love you so much. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
