Baby boy,

I’m so tired. I subbed for third grade today and somehow they wipe me out. My plan is to just fall asleep in Elijah’s bed while I’m putting him to sleep and get up when Ellie wakes me up the tenth time. I will have to put out the candy and move the elves at some point in the middle of the night.

I hope you’re getting ready for Christmas up there and have a tree for yourself. Maybe it looks just like our one we have with all the same ornaments, so you can still have all the memories.

We have a bereaved siblings event tomorrow, it’s cookie decorating and making gingerbread houses. I will be sure to make a special cookie just for you.
