Tonight is going to be super short because I had to wake up at 12:45am and frankly I’m exhausted.

I had you with me the whole race. I wanted to bring my necklace with your ashes in it, but I worried it would fall out of my running pouch.

I did see the bright rainbow that showed up over top Diamond Head. I was hoping it was a little sign from you because after seeing that, eight miles in, my headphones died. So much for a perfectly curated marathon playlist.
