I’m going to keep this short because I’m getting sick. Maybe it’s the cold, maybe it’s subbing and being around all the young kids more, maybe it’s the fact that I’m not sleeping, or maybe it’s a fun combination of all of those.

We bought the chocolate advent calendars today at Trader Joe’s. I chose the beach themed one for you with both hula dancing and surfing penguins. Hawaii was your favorite place, so I thought that calendar was the best choice for you.

I read my birthday post from last year and I also didn’t get any sign from you. I do feel like I’m too caught up in everything and don’t have the time to really slow down and look.
