My baby boy,

It was a long day, but I got to wear pajamas to work today so that was an added bonus. It was Polar Express Day, so being cozy in pajamas was encouraged and I took advantage.

I work tomorrow afternoon and get to be in third grade for their Christmas party. I don’t think it’ll be any more chaotic than the Halloween party.

We bought a dreidel today because Lucas played with one yesterday at school and insisted that we needed one to play at home. He said it was so fun, even though he lost terribly at school. He claims that he can explain to us how to play, but I don’t know if I can trust him. I may have to look it up myself, too. Elijah still listens to Amazon Story Time every night and we’ve been listening to “holiday” stories for the last month. Maybe some of the Hanukkah stories will make more sense after I’ve learned and played dreidel myself.

Elijah wants to talk to you. He says, “If you go to the North Pole some time and if Santa can see you, umm, can you ask him for Christmas if he can make me a Nintendo Switch 2 and Kirby and the Forgotten Land Star Crossed World? And also there’s also something I want for Lucas to have. I want him to have all the pets in Minecraft to have a different version of it, like cactus, and TNT, and lava, and fire. Yep, that’s all I need to say and I love you. Make sure to play with Apollo”.

I love you more than anything, baby boy. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
