I bought the things for your Valentine’s Day bags today. Gma always got us a little treat on Valentine’s Day and I had wanted to pass that tradition on to you guys. I’m not exactly sure when it became a scavenger hunt with clues written on hearts, but I’m thinking it was right around the time Ellie started to read. As you guys got older, I was able to make my clues a little more difficult.

Because of this ridiculous little tradition, you guys absolutely love Valentine’s Day. As a mom, you just decide to do things sometimes that seem like they could be fun for your kids. It isn’t until you hear your kids constantly talk about how great it was and say they can’t wait for the day next year because of the same thing, that you realize you somehow started a new tradition for your family.

Do not worry, I bought four of everything and you will have a Valentine’s Day bag hidden with your siblings’. I promise you, you will never be forgotten in this house, not even on random little holidays like Valentine’s Day. Whenever this family celebrates anything, you will be included.
